I like the clean simplicity of a blank background, so I just used white. I LOVE to ink, so I rubbed a little bit of black scrapbooking ink on the outside of the tree and the hearts. – Before securing the twine, I placed the hearts where I wanted them.I then secured the bottom of the twine to the background page and then tied the top on the tree limb. When I was done, I adhered the larger hearts on top. 🙂 You can always put this part inside the frame if you want, but I LOVE the look of mine on the outside. If you can’t remember all of the words, you can Google it.I like to use this site to find mine but there are all sorts of websites out there that showcase song lyrics.🙂 Also cut out a piece of white cardstock to be the background for your art, you’ll want it to be sized 8×10 inches. I like to use the square adhesives, it makes the tree/heart pop off the page to make it look a little more interesting. If you want to change things up, you could also have a fun pattern for the background. Place them on the back of your tree and attach the tree to your background.Gotta love that childhood sing-song rhyme we all used to chant in elementary school! Thanks to the talents of the darling Merrymint gals, they used this rhyme to help me turn the song Jamie & I danced to at our wedding… Grab a pair of scissors, adhesive of some type , an 8×10 frame, 4 sheets of white cardstock, a black pen, distressing ink , and some cute ribbon or baker’s twine. I have them linked up below in the steps where you will need them. You don’t need a whole lot to make this darling piece of art!
There should be plenty of discussion relating to storms however. You can also cut two 12-inch pieces of ribbon/twine.You will probably be cutting that length down but it’s better to be safe then sorry.Once printed, put it back into the printer and print our Tree Template onto that sheet so the outline of the tree is on top of your lyrics.– You will also want to print off our Printable Hearts And our Printable Tag If you are giving this to your sweetheart or to a friend, you can hole-punch and attach the tag to the outside of your present. Cut out all four hearts, the tree, and the tag if you’d like.Seems to be some cynical attitudes out there but I know Mad River hasn't given up and I certainly haven't given up which is wise considering how we roared back to life last year. There's plenty to talk about anyway with some wintry weather expected Sunday and some big storm potential for the back end of the upcoming week in the first weekend of March. With the help of sunshine, Monday and Tuesday, the last two in what has been a disappointing February will be spring-like with readings soaring into the middle 40's while dropping into the 20's at night.Wednesday should feature more clouds but similar temperatures.Once you have it exactly the way you want it, copy the entire song and paste it over and over again in your document so the entire page is covered. If your song happens to be any of the following: – Once you are finished typing up your lyrics, print them onto white cardstock.
