Error code: 0x80070490 Error description: Forefront Endpoint Protection couldn’t install the definition updates. In the eventlog you will see the following nothing saying message: Microsoft Antimalware has encountered an error trying to update signatures.
Before you begin to create automatic deployment rules, make sure that you have configured Configuration Manager software updates.

If the database server is out of space or if the table used to store definitions has reached its quota, there will likely be error messages in the Windows Event Logs.
